To discover, preserve, display, and make available for study appropriate historical artifacts, books, manuscripts, papers, photographs, paintings, vital records, genealogies and other materials specific to the Town of Cape Vincent.
To maintain a museum upon the property provided by the Town of Cape Vincent.
To encourage and disseminate knowledge of the history of the Town of Cape Vincent.
To bring together those people interested in history, encourage public interest in history, sponsor historical meetings, programs and events.
To cooperate with state and county and regional historical organizations to collect and preserve materials of statewide and countywide significance.
To receive, hold, use and dispose of subscriptions, gifts, grants, donations, bequests, and devices for the benefit of the Museum in order to effectuate the purposes thereof.
